MealLuma

Honest calorie and macro tracking from a photo or description — built for how the world actually eats.

How It Works

Snap your meal or describe it in words. MealLuma suggests what may be in it, then gives you estimated calories and macros with a range and confidence level. A photo or short description cannot establish exact ingredients or portions, so review every result before relying on it.

Anything looks off? Correct the dish, components, calories, or macros. MealLuma applies a complete saved correction first when the same named dish or component appears again; you can also forget that memory.

Designed For Mixed And Regional Meals

MealLuma is designed to separate mixed plates into components, suggest regional dish names, and consider cooking methods a photo may not reveal. Strict matches are calculated from a pinned USDA food-composition catalog; saved corrections are applied first; unresolved foods remain AI estimates. Hidden fats, recipes, and portions can still be wrong.

Cuisine preferences provide context, while native units such as katori, roti, bowl, and ladle make results easier to review and correct.

Protein Visibility And General Goals

You can choose an optional protein-first view that makes logged protein easier to see. It changes display emphasis only and does not prescribe an intake target; ask a qualified clinician for guidance tailored to you.

Every plan uses the same nutrition accuracy pipeline. Unlimited manual, barcode, catalog, correction, and package-label logging stays free, along with Favorites, single-meal repeat logging, and the raw meal diary; the free plan includes 3 Photo or Describe analyses per UTC day and a basic 7-day trend. Pro adds up to 150 combined AI analyses per UTC day, structured weekly intelligence, advanced 30/90-day trend views, protein-first display, and atomic batch repeat logging.
